Tonight

Amidst the chatter

laughs, and delight.

The umpteenth bottle,

the stories, music,

the ambient light.

Some awkward silences,

some nostalgic emotions highlight.

Ichi-go ichi-e, in the moment;

Living with kanso tonight.
